Priya Israni earned her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Interned at SMS hospital where she assisted in analysis of patients of Psychosis and Schizophrenia. She began her career as an Entrepreneur in Fashion at the age of 19 and created a successful business retailing couture fashion apparel. she managed a hybrid team of in house and outsourced team members. She went on to win the best designer award from the Late Queen of Jaipur, Maharani Gayatri Devi and had the privilege of designing a collection for her. Additionally, as a personal project, Priya founded Sahyog, a school for special needs kids. Her passion for Classical Indian dancing led her to be cast in a lead role in a Nationally televised Indian soap opera called Geet Govind. Currently, she runs her own fashion label and handles marketing of products on the Home Shopping Network. She leads India Heritage center and is passionate about recording and preserving inspiring stories of the Indian Diaspora for generations to come.
She does not believe in wealth without work, pleasure without conscience, knowledge without character and lastly a life without giving back.
